Life, Above All - a film by Oliver Schmitz (with the score by Askin) was premiered at the Cannes International Filmfestival in the section "Un Certain Regard".

Still available: Askin's score for the movie SALAMI ALEIKUM. It was nominated for the German Academy Awards (also called LOLA, the German OSCAR so to speak), and is available as either CD or downlaod:
